Levanter Privacy Policy

Effective date: 3 November 2026

English Español

In short. Levanter does not collect, store or send any personal data to Raetae Studios. The game runs offline on your headset. Meta runs the store, your account and your purchase, and handles that data under its own privacy policy. If you write to us, we use your message only to answer you.

This Privacy Policy explains how Raetae Studios handles personal data in connection with Levanter, our game for Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S, and on this website. It applies to the current version of the game.

1. Who we are

The controller of any personal data described here is:

Name
Raetae Studios, Spain
Email
[email protected]

2. What the game does not do

The current version of Levanter:

Like every VR app, the game reads the position of your headset and controllers so that you can play. It uses this information on the headset in real time and does not store or send it.

3. Data kept only on your headset

The game saves a few things on your headset so that it remembers them next time: your settings (for example turning, weapon hand, volume and subtitles), the last level and difficulty you played, and your best wave. This data stays on your device. We cannot see or access it. Uninstalling the game deletes it from the headset.

4. What Meta does

Levanter is sold and delivered through the Meta Horizon Store. Meta operates the store, your Meta account, payments, refunds, store reviews and the headset's operating system. Meta processes the data involved as an independent controller, under its own policies:

We do not receive your payment details. Through its tools for developers, Meta may give us aggregated reports about the game, such as sales figures, install counts, ratings or technical crash reports. We use them only to run and improve the game, and we do not try to identify anyone from them. If you post a public review on the store, we may read it and reply publicly there.

5. When you contact us

If you write to us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach (for example a screenshot or a description of a bug).

We never sell personal data and never use it for advertising.

Planned · not in the current version

If and when a later version adds Meta platform features

A later version of Levanter may use Meta's platform services for two things: to check, on the headset, that the game was obtained from the Meta Horizon Store (an "entitlement check"), and to award achievements, for example one that marks players who owned the game early. If that happens:

  • the game will ask Meta whether your Meta account owns Levanter and will use your Meta user ID and achievement progress for these features;
  • Meta stores achievements on your Meta account; we do not keep a copy and do not store your user ID;
  • the game may connect to Meta's services for these features;
  • data received from Meta will be used only for these features, never sold, and deleted on request, as Meta's Developer Data Use Policy requires.

We will update this policy, and its effective date, before any such version is released. If we ever need to check purchases on a server of our own, we will say here what we store and why before we do it.

6. Children

Levanter is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it. Meta's store applies its own age rules and parental supervision tools.

7. Your rights and how to ask for deletion

Under data protection law (including the GDPR) you can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy of it. In practice the only personal data we may hold is your correspondence with us.

You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Spain this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es); elsewhere, the authority where you live.

8. This website

raetae.com sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, runs no scripts, and loads nothing from other websites (its fonts are hosted here). Like any web server, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages), records technical data about each request (such as IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser type) to deliver the site and keep it secure. It processes this data for us and keeps it only for a short time. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The provider may process this data outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards it offers for such transfers.

9. Changes to this policy

If the game or this website changes the way it handles personal data, we will update this page and its effective date before the change applies.
